Adapted Yoga

Yoga practice can increase the quality of life and provide a lot of support in disability management. Yoga can be adapted to all kinds of needs and levels of mobility.

I provide classes that suit your current level of fitness and bring you closer to your health and well-being goals. You can choose whether to practice a very gentle, relaxation-oriented restorative yoga, chair yoga, a gentle practice on a mat or challenge yourself to do a more vigorous style of yoga.

Goals that can be achieved with yoga practice include:

– managing anxiety and moods

– managing chronic pain

– maintaining and increasing join mobility

– developing strength, flexibility and balance

– bettering general relationship with your body.

Disability and chronic conditions do not have to exclude you from yoga practice. I have experience in work with people struggling both with mental and physical conditions and I know that we can walk this path together, taking one step at a time.
